Why Human Rights?
This is a passion of mine. I'm drawn to it like a moth to a flame. I believe that part of the responsibility of the free is to speak up for the freedom of others who risk their very lives to speak and share their terrible suffering. Over the last two years I've met some amazing human beings. I especially focus on Iran ever since I felt like a ghost standing next to a Tehran University student while the school was under siege, late June 2009. Part of me is still there and I think of them whenever I hear of another arrest, torture, & death. May the regime of fear crumble. May Egypt win its well-deserved freedoms as well as Libya, and may they set a precedent for freedom movements everywhere to learn from.
